Not a legal problem. Your query relates to preservation of records by banks. Different banks have different period for preservation of records.

If you really have some problem, better check with the concerned bank in which you have your account.

If you have grievances about your bankers lethargic attitude towards your banking problems, you may approach the Bank Manager or his higher, official to redress your problems, you query appears that you are aggrieved by the behavior of bank staff.
