Dual pan card

Dear All ,
Can someone have 2 or more PAN cards.
Actually i have already pan card but with the wrong date of birth. and now i want to change that but after many attempts i failed to change that. So can i apply for the new pan card with the new documents ( new dob certificate , new address.)
Is it possible.

No person can hold two pan cards.It is beyond the purview of law.

Two PAN Cards can not be hold by any one. Get the mistake corrected by sending the correction request as per procedure.

If you have already obtained the rectified PAN card, you may surrender the old PAN card.

Tender a simple apology, for not disclosing the previous PAN card while applying for the new card.
