Pay protection

dear sir i am serving officer in Indian army my present salary is 19680(basic pay)+5400(grade pay)+27972(Dearness allowance)+3040(transport allowance)+6000(Military special pay)+500(kit maintenance allowance)= 62592/- total pay.
I have been selected in Reserve bank of India as Assistant manager security and the will i get pay protection in RBI.

if there is fresh selection ? or whether your past service was taken account in recruitment process..I think both the posts are differnt..then its difficult to get protection..However you should made representation to the employer if both are goverened under CCS rules..or may approach to the CAT after exhaustaion of remedies

Sir in the notification published by RBI it is mentioned as Pay Protection, as per Government of India instructions, will be provided to the selected candidates.

Also the eligibility was also serving or retired offers with minimum 5 years of experience as commissioned officer.

They will fix your scale as per Govt. Circular. You may contact an ex-serviceman working in the RBI.

I have completed my initial period of contract i.e. 5 years...now i am on extn...if i take permanent commission, i will have to serve for another 15 years.
