My grand father had gave power to
Mr. X for his land in 1995 (12 acres)( power given to maintain and sell the land)and the power has been registered too in 1995 and he gave only 2 lakhs amount and started selling the land as lay outs and in 2006 grand father expired and now i came to know that he has not payed the full amount to my grand parents and now i cant able to find the land documents and i have applied for EC and it shows that the 12 acres has been sold to 81 parties from 1995 to 2014. 1.)My doubt is now can i claim the remaining property.
2.) can i claim for the property which he had sold after my grand fathers death
which is after 2006
3.) and how can i take position of the remaining property ....
Thank you

on your grand father death the power of attorney ceases . the holder has no power to sell the remaining plots . issue legal notice to holder and challenge sales made after your grand father death .

Yes, after the death of POA maker, the same comes to an end.
Any sale made thereafter by the attorney is null and void and liable to be set aside.

All those properties sold after the death of your grandfather by his Power agent is deemed to be illegal and invalid by law. you can file a suit to declare the said sale of properties after the power of attorney ceases to be a such agent anymore subsequent to the demise of his principal (your grandfather) as null and void and for recovery and delivery of possession of the same.
