THE CHEQUE HAS BEEN DEPOSITED BY COMPLAINANT AFTER 20 YEARS OF CLOSING OF ACCOUNT.WHETHER THE AGE OF CHEQUE CAN BE TAKEN AS DEFENCE? ANY CASE LAWS?

How cheques are in other party hands, are these signed by you without date.

However, it is a good defense as advised by the expert PS Dhingra ji.

Have you denied the consideration and liability in the reply notice, have you already stated in the reply notice that the cheque is stale and 20 years old?, This stand will defend you during trial of the case.
