Mediation request

(Querist) 09 May 2014 This query is : Resolved
Hi, my divorce case has been ordered by Supreme Court to be transferred from Bangalore to Delhi. The case is not yet come up for hearing in Delhi. It's been 3 months since Supreme Court order. My question is if I can request the court inDelhi using the certified copy of Supreme court order to transfer the case to Mediation even before it comes up for Divorce hearing?
Thanks

The case would be transferred first for which you can use certified copy. After that you cna apply for mediation.

Thanks. Does it normally take so much time for the case to be transferred? I checked with my bangalore lawyer, the case files have been dispatched, however i have nt received any notice yet? Would appreciate advise?

On receipt of fresh notice from the new court at Delhi, you may appear before that court and file an application seeking mediation. You may have to wait until you receive a fresh notice.
