Starting a trade union registeration

sir we would like to start a nurses union (registered under trade union),our staff strength is 500 , we are working in an autonomous organisation under national importance (jipmer puducherry)so please advice us how to get affliation and recognition under trade union act 1926 and please tell the things to be done for formulating a union

Only workmen can form trade union. Employees in JIPMER are not workmen.

First determine whether you fall under the category of workmen or not.
If yes then you can for such Union.

Instead of trade union, if your category employees do not fall within the purview of workmen who are entitled to form a trade union for themselves, you may a form a welfare association and get it registered as per the norms for such registration, this will be a parallel trade union though not a recognised trade union.

Sir in all india institute of medical scinces newdelhi there is a nurses union i think it is registered under trade union act and it has affliation and recognition in aiims .so we would like to stard such union,or which type of union we can start (for nurses class B ) please give a repley

No such trade union can be registered whether it is AIIMS New Delhi or any where else in India, you are mis-informed.
