Legal aid

(Querist) 04 June 2014 This query is : Resolved
Sir, I have been provided Legal Aid in the case no.1835/2000 in Metropolitan Court, Esplanade Mumbai in 2002, by the honourable Legal Aid Authority. the present state of the case is Part heard and still many witnesses examinations in chief to be done. Last examination in chief is done in March, 2010. Since then hearing is simply adjourned and no further procedure is continued. Now my Legal Aid lawyer is saying that he will not be attending the hearing in future dates and advised me to look for some one else. Can he do it ? after attending the case since 2002 to till date he suddenly decided to withdraw from the case. Kindly advise what to do. Thanking you
