Issue of passport

(Querist) 03 July 2014 This query is : Resolved
I want to make a passport, while filling the form i came across a question about being charged with criminal proceedings or any arrest warrant/summon pending before a court of india. An FIR was filed against me and i had to take a conditional bail from the High Court although the proceeding haven't started yet nor do I have to go to the court for dates. So do how do i answer this question? a yes or a no? please help

FIR is lodged.
Whether charge sheet filed?
What do you mean by conditional bail? Is it anticipatory bail?
If you have not received any summons, and if you have taken anticipatory bail, according to me you can give answer : "NO".

chargesheet hasn't been filed. I had to take a bail from the High Court on the condition that I had to regularly go to the police station for attendance for a week. After that, no summon nor do I have to go for dates

There is a criminal case pending against you before a court of law, your answer should be 'Yes'

No judge shall oblige you in the manner, the agent require. You shall have to clearly mention the pendancy of the criminal case in your application and rest leave upon the passport office to decide.
