Ask the owner to take bail if he wants to be safe from clutches of Police.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 07 August 2014
Owner should take bail first. FIR copy and the case file need to be referred, engage a local lawyer.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 10 August 2014
As the owner is still in coma, he can neither be arrested nor can he take bail. A representation should be made to higher police officials that the FIR lodged against such owner/driver is illegal and it be investigated impartially and only actual person causing accident should be nabbed.

MACT petition is required to be contested, if file by injured.

Thank you Experts your your support and time. Dear Mr. Raj Kumar Makkad, Sir, I find your advice very logical in my case as the owner is still unconscious.
