Changing of cast

My actual cast is Ganiga belongs to category 2A, but in my transfer certificate it has been mentioned as Lingayat (3B). What is the procedure to take cast certificate in 2A and changing the cast in transfer certificate. Please guide in this matter

make application for correction of entries in transfer certificate to the authority that issued transfer certificate

With the proof that you belong to ganiga Caste by producing the community certificate that of your father or any other substantial evidence, you can make an application to the authorities who issued you the Transfer certificate, if there is no proper response,you may think of proceeding legally to get the needful done.
