Right of married daughters in a h.u.f.

Sir,can the married daughters of a huf in maharashtra who were married before 22 nd june 1994 can claim their share in huf property. please advice.

If it is ancestral property she has got equal rights in the share of her father.

Yes is the sole answer to your query because the date of marriage has no concern after enforcement of HSA, 2005.

The daughters do not have coparcenery rights if they were married before the amendment of HSA, for a share in HUF or in the ancestral property.
