Hello,
I have a query regarding my great grandfathers property. The property belongs to my great grand father and my grand father had written the property to my father and his sisters. My father has expired recently and the grand parents are planning to revisit the will and write the whole property to their daughters or share unfairly.
My father and family had taken care of them and my mothers dowry was also completely taken by them promising the whole property was for us.
Could someone guide us giving pointers as to how to handle this suitation legally.
Thankyou for your guidance.

Is the property of your grand-father a ancestral?
If yes , he can not deprive his legal heirs.
And what is the nature of deed whereby grand-father gave this property to your father and his sisters?

How the property was written in the name of your father by your G Father?
If it was a will and the property is self acquired by your Grand father, he can change the will at any time. You have no claim if he bequeath his property to some other person.
If it was gift of self acquired property by your grandfather, he can not change it now normally.

is it self acquired property of your great grand father or ancestral? was your grand father only legal heir of your great grand father . will made by grand father can be revoked if he is absolute owner of the property . has your grand father executed gift deed in favour of your father?

Assuming it to be self acquired property of the great grandfather and passed on to the hands of grandfather (assuming to be the only legal heir), during the life time of his son the grandfather might have executed a Will. The property in the hands of grandfather is his own property hence he can very well cancel his Will and settle the property in favor of his daughters alone for all those reasons he may feel it justified. He cannot be questioned or stopped from doing so if the above assumptions are to be considered as facts.
