Does Temples or Ashram liable to pay House Tax, Water Tax?

There is a temple in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.Now Firozabad became Nagar Nigam since 5 months.
For this I would have consult to Nagar Palika and thier rules or anything else?
Or U.P. laws will follow?
What law are governed on this matter?

yes, they are unless any statutory exemption is there locally.
