Sir,
My sister filed CRPC 125 against her husband.Now She want to get all the StriDhan from her Husband. Our Advocate made a DD but he Didn't his Signature on that DD. My question is a Lawyer Signature needed For the Demand Draft. I think if Lawyer's is not present then Local Police may not help me. Please give me a suggestion on that account.

A Demand Draft will be Invalid If your Lawyer Signs It.

Only Banker sign the DD, signature of lawyer or any other person on DD would make it invalid / would amount to irregular endorsement. Payee can endorse /Â sign on back while claiming payment.

DD does not contain signature of any person other than the officers of the bank, who issued DD.

Actualy I want to Explain that my sister after filled CRPC 125 against her Husband and she want to get back her all the things which we had Given to her in her Marriage. My Advocate made a draft of Prayer for stridhan to Local Police Station and My advocate didn't Sign on that Draft. He told me that my sister signature is only needed on that Draft. Is this the Right procedeore to get back her things.

Your sister's signature alone is enough in the letter drafted to the police station demanding the streedhan back.

How nice is it that you have changed the whole sense of your query by writing the word "DD" whereas DD is known as "Demand Draft" issued by a bank for payment to some party, as payee, on the DD, while you have used the term DD for a complaint, not written even "draft complaint". Moreover, you did not leave any iota of doubt for any one when you used the term "DEMAND DRAFT" even in the subject line.
Now when experts have expressed their opinion, you have come with the clarification after so many hours of their replies to indicate that you wanted to know about signatures on the draft of complaint to police.
Do you feel that the demand draft of bank and draft complaint to police are the same thing or you have tried to outsmart the experts, who replied your query in good faith?

I asked about recovery of Stridhan property which was made by my Advocate. But I had some problem. The Ghatsila Police( Under Jahrkhand State) there not willing to receive the recovery draft officially. The Ghatsila Police are asking for the Court order. So at this Stage what we do? Our Advocate advice us to do the Complain in the Court. If his Advice is right then What has the procedure to Complain in the Court.
