I had bought a built up house in Punjab with my SIL in 2005. She forcibly (her husband being advocate) occupied the house and made circumstances that I had to sell my 50% share to her at nominal price. She got GPA registered and receipt signed for money given to me for 50% share. In records I am still owner of 50% share. Is there a way that I can now deny the sale and cancel GPA or claim the difference amount from her.

One has to know the complete contents of the GPA and then only it is possible to give any definite view point. With the limited facts given by it is not possible to give any views. One can herald a guess, but a guess work is after all a guess work and cannot be a substitute for an appropriate answer.

All the documents need to be referred, consult local lawyer.

if you were forced to sell your share at nominal price did you file any police complaint ? did you move court for setting aside sale deed on account of coercion?
consult a local lawyer

Thanks all for valuable feedback. No sale deed was registered. Only money receipt on legal paper was made and GPA with right to sell was signed and registered. I did consult a local lawyer and on his advise only we received whatever they offered. But they later she filed a police complaint and harassed us taking undue advantage of their local relations.
