For filing a partition suit you must contact a local advocate who will inform you about the court fee payable for the purpose, because the court fee varies from one state to another.

Any more legal heirs to your father? You are silent on this aspect. Anyway, taking the query that you two are the only legalheirs, you have right for half-share in the property and you have to engage a local advocate for filing suit for partition. Court fee is state matter and advocate fee depends upon the advocate to whom you are going to entrust the case.
