Recently my friend got booked under section 353 and section 332 under IPC. The accused was drunk when he assaulted the officer.

Kindly advise the consequences of the said case and the procedure for the case to be dismissed if possible.

There is no word of 'dismissal of case'in criminal law. anyway, if no compromise is arrived at between the parties, there is no other alternate but to face complete trial and only on the basis of merits of the case, the case shall be decided by criminal court.
