Sir in a cheque bounce case the court held the accused guilty and sentenced him to undergo imprisonment and an amount of money as compensation to be given to complainant.The accused served the sentence but did not pay compensation.Can accused be prosecuted under the charge of contempt of court for the non compliance of court order?

Instruct your lawyer to bring the matters to the notice of the Court.

The court is responsible for making sure that the accused pays the compensation. If you have any questions about the compensation ordered by the court, you should file a petition in the court regarding the same. Has the accused not appealed in the higher court.

Sir the accused appealed in session court which was dismissed and did not appeal in high court
