Need baby boy custody

Me and my wife is leaving separately. My 1year baby is leaving with my wife. I am going to take divorce with my wife but I want my baby custody. My wife is only B.A, her family is not financially strong and not able to take full responsibility of my baby. Please suggest me How can I take custody?

Can I take baby custody after 5 years? When the baby becomes 6 year old.

If the Mother is Not Financially Strong to Take Care of the Baby It is your Duty and Legal Responsiblity to Make the Required Financial Assistance to them Or the Court would get their Remedy from You.

Up to the age of 05 yrs, custody of the child remains with mother generally, you can have visiting rights and support the child financially

Generally custody of little child is given to mother, father may get visitation rights.

Father has to pay maintenance of the child.
