There was partition case of our property in Revenue department. During the proceeding of that case one of the party sold few part of land to third party.
When i check the sale deed then I observe some forgery of documents like attaching duplicate 7/12 extract.
Can I file case in criminal court for this forgery and who will be punished under 420,467

Regards,
Ajit

Mr. ajit kumar, first confirm whether the document is forged. if so submit an application before the District Registrar concerned that the document registered is forged one by enclosing necessary papers. he will order to conduct enquiry under Sec.82 and 83 of Registration Act. if it is proved then automatically the person/persons who forged document will be prosecuted.

Whether the seller had share in the sold property?

Whether he sold more than his share?

Yes Documents are Forged and seller has claimed his rights on this property in revenue court which claim was challenged at higher level.Documents are forged at all.

File a criminal case of forgery with police.
Alternatively apply for handwriting expert to check the forgery with signature .
