FIR REGISTRED PAST ONE YEAR BACK. STILL POLICE NOT FILLING THE CHARGE SHEET IN THE COURT. POLICE NOTHING RESPONSE TILL THE DATE. PL GIVE ME REMEDY. AND ALSO ANOTHER MY QUESTION 1, FIR VALID HOW MANY DAYS? 2, IF ANY CHANCES TO CLOSE THE FIR WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE? WHAT'S REMEDY THIS KIND OF CASES PL REPLY

1. There is no time limit to submit charge sheet.
2. The court will not accept the closure report of Police unless and until the de facto complainant is given opportunity to raise objection in acceptance of the same.

when FIR is long pending, you can even file a private complaint before the judicial magistrate saying delay might affect you badly explaining your reasons, then the magistrate may initiate urgent police investigation,
