Try to have amicable settlement.
If not possible, you can file damages claim, can lodge FIR against your brother.

Mr. Narayana,
Your too short reply, "yesterday," does not suit my question. Your query seems to be a purely academic, as I don't think this is a harvesting season for paddy.
Also, it is quite disbelievable that the paddy of the whole field was cut in a single day by your brother, as you stated "yesterday," that too without coming to your knowledge.
Anyway, if there is even the slightest of truth in yur story, you have the optiion to lodge a theft report with the police for investigation and necessary action.
But, better, take help of the elders of your family and village to get the issue settled amicably.

@ Dhingra Sir! This is harvesting season for paddy in many regions including some parts of Haryana.
In the given facts, immediately file the police complaint against your brother if the matter is not settled amicably.

Dear Shri Makkad,
If I am not wrong, according to my info, in Haryana, paddy becomes ripe for harvesting near the end of October or in November, as sown after sufficient rain during monsoon.
However, Mr. Narayana's information about his own state is correct deserving solution to his problem.

Mr. Narayan,
I ahve already suggested in my previous post as follows:
you have the optiion to lodge a theft report with the police for investigation and necessary action.
But, better, take help of the elders of your family and village to get the issue settled amicably.
Second option may probably be better, as family dispute may take some bitter turn, beyond the partition suit already going on between two brothers.
