I'm submitting original title deed in a bank for housing loan. So, should I keep a copy of title deed attested by gazetted officer or a copy attested by a notary? If both are ok, which one is better or more legally valued?

Though there is no need to go for extra precaution, if you wish you can keep attested copy of the document.

Obtain duly acknowledged copy under seal,signature,date..................from bank.
Bank is under obligation to provide authenticated copies of all docs e.g; loan brochure, loan offer, loan application, loan agreement, annexures etc etc....

In any case the sale deed is in public domain and certified copy can be obtained.
If lost by Bank it is liable to help to get a copy and/or reconstruct any document that is soiled/damaged/mutilated/lost by it.
