Professional tax on advocates in maharashtra

can any one give me notification no. by which advocates are exempt for the period of first 5 years from their registration in maharashtra. or are they liable.

IRRESPECTIVE OF "Registration date as Advocate":

1. There is no exemption under the Professional Tax Act.

2. HOWEVER, "IF" you prove that you had no income (ITR Return) after "Registration date as Advocate" and that you did not practice, THEN exemption of professional tax for that period can claimed by following due procedure of law.
