It seemed to be merely an academic query.
However, even if there is any truth in your story, you are free to send legal notice to the boyfriend and file suit in the court of law to prove your point that he promised you to marry.
Otherwise, for you knowledge, consensual physical use on dating cannot be termed as cheating, The question arises, what was the compulsion for you to get used physically before marriage, merely on some one's promise?
