hello,
i am owner of flat in Hyderabad &let out flat i am member of flat owner society intially they had taken membership fee & other charges later on they decided to collect corpus fund which was not intimated to me later on they disconnected electric supply n demanded to pay the amount with penalty i have paid the amounts due without penalty can they demand penalty for corpus fund & disconnect electric supply to flat bhupender

Sir,
Electric supply is an essential service and it is a criminal offence to curtail essential services, it may result in a penalty or an imprisonment or both.

Lodge complaint with the police against discontinuing of essential amenities.

You have apparently paid.
Electricity supply seems to have been restored.
