Ipc 279,338 and Passport

I met an accident a year ago and I have been charged under IPC 279 , 338. The case is settled by out of court settlement. After that I wasn't summoned to present before the court. My lawyer said that the case is now between MACT and victim and he gave me a paper that shows 'finding' and 'plea' as 'Not guilty'. Can I apply for a passport now? Did I need to mention the case details?

Had you received any summons from the court? Your lawyer's version appears to be less than convincing.
