Garrage construction

Can i build a garrage to my boundary line.which is attached to neighbours boundary line.they send a notice of 144 against us through court.what can indo now.is this construction work illegal?

If your boundary line creates an obstruction for people things and vehicles to move or a sort of nuisance to your neighbor then don't construct any garage there.If that is not the case settle the dispute amicably with your neighbor and ask his permission to construct your garage on the boundary line of both.If still this doesn't workout take permission from Municipal corporation and construct the garage.If Municipality doesn't give permission means then it is illegal.
