what is the risk/probability of infection of AIDS by an infected needle lying/placed in a public place?
I know that LCI is mainly a legal fraternity. However people like Dr.SanatKumar are active members here. As such i raised this issue.
Nowadays,many of us are receiving many emails in this regard.
I Hope someone from the medical community clarifies the possibility,eventhough,it is a known facts that AIDS virus cannot survive long in atmosphere.

Even though there are medical practitioners in the members area and expert forum, yet the limitation is on legal side of the questions or problems. Therefore, answering your question would dilute the purpose of this forum.

i have seen many experts writing and posting matters which have no legal connections.
i can clarify my query,even with a local medical officer.
At the time of writing this the membership of the forum is 58,740.
I am sure majority of them are not from lawyers community. If someone answer my query in this forum,it would be of benefit to all.
Posting of such queries are not seen at the interest of this forum,i hope the administrators of these site advice me as well as all other "experts",so that only legal matters are discussed here.
