Procedue for becoming Lawyer/Notary???

Guest (Querist) 30 March 2010 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

I am Amit Arora, aged about 27 Years, working in a MNC in Gurgaon (Haryana) - have completed my B.Com & MBA (Finance) through distance learning programe.

I have keen interest in the Law. Can someone suggest me the procedure for becoming the lawyer & Notary. Is it possible to study through distance learning programme or a regular collage is mandatory for studying law.
I want to study along with my joB.

Please suggest me law collages in Delhi/NCR and also give me more information/guide me how to proceed further.

Thanks & Regards

Amit Arora

Annamalai University allows LLB through correspondence and according to my knowledge, no college in NCR runs such prog.

There is a good scope for you in LLB. After completing law when you regularly practice for more than 10 years then you shall become eligible for the appointment of Notary Public.

Annamalai university has no LLB program. BGL and BAL programs are avaialble in annamalai university which is not eligible for practising law.

Yes, thats right...I've also checked - Annamalai university has no LLB program.
Any clue about evening collage in Delhi/NCR for LLB???

i agree with Krishnaa,

in fact no correspondence course for LL.B will entitle you to get license as a lawyer.

better would be to join some evening course for LL.B

Notary is shall not be ur instant dream, it takes atleast 10 years of practice as a lawyer and thereafter chamchagiri of politicians :)

join some evening course for LL.B
10 years of practice as a lawyer is necessary requirement for notary... and yes Mr Kiran is right... political influence is there.....
