i am residing in delhi in my mother owned intestate property.my parents and my only elder brother expired.his family is residing on the 1st floor.My bhabi(widow of my brother)and her family members threats me and abuse me on my cell phone.How authentic is a phone call in the court of law.

It needs to be authenticated by voice recognition tests done by designed agencies and opinion of experts.

You have to approach Police and the mobile company for the said misdemeanours of your ex-loved ones; then upon the complaint recieved the Police will take action and rest when the voice tests to be performed will be helpful in deciding the matter. But expert opinions are not conclusive factors to adjudge case in your favour.
Also you can file "complaint for extortion"

I am also of the view that for getting Incoming record from any telephone service provider there are two ways,
1) You go through to Police department at least S.P Level, for asking letter for Incoming call detail for proving your innocence for your ongoing court case , with attached your certified copies of case.
2) You should apply to your service provider (Bsnl etc) under RTI 2005 , with application above same .

The voice can be sent to forensic lab during the investigation or court case. Based on the expert opinion the court will pass suitable orders.

Very difficult to prove but not impossible. You have to record entire conversation and take the details viz.time, duration, date etc. from the service provider which will corroborate your evidence. Thereafter the investigating agency will compare the voice of the offender with the recorded one and shall refer the same to Hyderabad where the Govt. approved voice expert agency is situated. After getting their opinion the investigating agency shall proceed further and do the next course course of action.
