Regarding -NOC for My Two wheeler

Sir,

I am a native of Pondicherry. Recently i got a job in Chennai. I have got NOC from Pondicherry RTO for my Two wheeler to Transfer to Chennai.Whether I need to get one more NOC from Chennai-Meenambakkam RTO, where i am staying for Change of Registration number.

I will be more happier,if my query is answered.

Yes and more to avoid regular problems with trafic police.

you do not need an NOC.

Instead,you need to apply to the RTO under whose jurisdiction you are staying to register your vehicle there.

only for registering the vehicle there,you have to submit the NOC by rto pondicherry along with application for such registration.

Even on the basis of NOC from Pondicherry,RTO Meenambakom may not register your vehicle there,unless they confirm the originality of NOC produced by you. Generally the rto meenambakom sent a letter to the rto pondicherry to confirm the correctness of the NOC.
