Harrasment

(Querist) 13 July 2010 This query is : Resolved
Daughter in law has an extramarital affair. Abuses and harasses in laws and husband. Uses filthy language. What is the remedy against her.
Daksh (Expert) 13 July 2010
Dear Ganesh,

It is always better to talk and resolve first but simultaneously do not let your guard down prepare solid case for adultary (even if it requires take help of detectives) and go to court with your head high and confront her.
Best Regards

REGARDING YOUR FAMILY MATTER KINDLY NOTE THAT.
1.YOU MAY KINDLY LET THE MATTER BE HANDLED WITH CONSULTATION OF YOUR SON.BECAUSE HE IS HUSBAND OF THE LADY.AND PARENTS OF THE GIR.
2.KINDLY NOTE THAT MERELY ON THE BASIS SUSPICION ,DO NOT MAKE ANY VAGUE ALLEGATIONS ON YOUR DAUGHTER IN LAW AS SHE IS ALSO DAUGHTER OF HER PARENTS.
3.KINDLY NOTE THAT MOST OF THE PRESENT ACTS ARE IN FAVOUR OF MARRIED WOMEN, AND UNNECESSARILY YOU MAY BE INVITING TROUBLE IN CASE SHE FILES COMPLAINT AGAINST YOU FOR HARASSMENT FOR DOWRY.IT IS A SERIOUS MATTER AND ALL YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE SUFFERING .
4.IT IS ADVISIBLE TO DISCUSS THE MATTER WITH ALL CONCERNED AS SUGGESTED, IF SUSPECIONS ARE REMOVED IT IS O.K. BUT IN CASE IT IS TRUE THEN YOU MAY ADVISE YOUR SON FOR DIVORCE.PLEASE NOTE.
DO NOT HARASS THE LADY IT MAY PUT YOUR FAMILY IN TROUBLE PLEASE NOTE.
GOOD LUCK.THANKS.

To handle it by legal recourse you could make a complaint before the maintenance tribunal of your locality under maintenance and welfare of parents and senior citizens act,2007.

Legal remedy is slow but safe.

file a complaint under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 against your daughter in law
