marriage certificate query

Hi

i would be travelling to UK for an official visit after 25 days.In the visa form,if i select married,it needs to be supportted by marriage certificate.but till now i have not got my marriage certiifcate .pl advise in this case what should i submit since i dont have any document supporting my marriage

You can get your marriage registered and get marriage registration certificate same day, After completing necessary formalities.

Thanks for your response.But i had goten married in Delhi and currently we are residing in Mumbai,so can we get it registered in Mumbai.Also more than 6 months has elapsed since our marriage

Yes definitely It cane be registered any where, It requires some formalities according to respective rules of the state as residential proof, photographs of marriage etc. Time factor doesn't affect.

but i hear that in mumbai it takes a lot of time to get it done,like 25-30 days.should i go directly or through an agent

go directly and verify do not go by hear-say it is not safe.
