money recovery suit

i have taken policy and invested money and never recieved my original policy documents so that i could free look said policy. now can i file suit for recovery of money.

If you have received any periodicals from the company regarding confirmation or update of the policy then that will suffice. If the company where you have invested is Public Undertaking managed by the Govt then apply for the confirmation of the policy by applying under Right To Information Act.

You are not giving full particulars about policy anyway non issue of policy is deficiency in service and for that you can file a complaint in consumer forum and in this complaint you can recover your amount and compensation also. There is no need to file a recovery suit.

File a case under the Consumer Protection Act in a Consumer Forum. The remedy will be cheap, fast & effective.
