Pls tell full procedure of District consumer Forum filing complaint to decision under consumer protection Act 1986

To know the procedure effectively one has to attend the court/forum regularly. Here the party aggrieved files complaint u/s 12 of the Act. The Complainant can also file petition for interim relief if the circumstances so demands.The procedure is summary one where examination and cross examination is made in affidavit only.Thereafter the forum pass the judgement which can be revised by State Commission and thereafter by the National Commission.

Mr. Barman has explained the procedure in brief. But it is better to attend and by practice only, one can understand the procedures completely.
