Some persons have commited serious offences with Court. An application has been moved against them by me u/s 340 Cr.P.C. The Sessions Judge ordered Police to conduct enquary. In enquary-report ,Police says that offences in question are definatly committed by all aforesaid persons but no legal evidence is available to prosecute them.I have moved an application in the court to conduct Narco Tests of all persons so that the truth could be come out in shape of evidence. Now what is the legal position regarding Narco Tests in such a matter. Can the court pass an order the Police to conduct Narco Tests of all aforesaid persons? Please give some citations also.

Reports of Narco test are only secondary evidence which strenthens primary evidence in course of trial in courts .When a a party to a case strongly puts his point before the court praying for ordering Narco test of the alleged persons, the court after being convinced of the requirement, can order a Narco test.
