Father Property

Dear Sir,

I have one brother & he is claim on my father self property. Is it any rules for that property.

Pls. guide me.

The legal heirs can not claim in the self acquired property of the predecessor in interest as long as he is alive.

Your brother cannot claim any share in your father's self acquired property during his life time.
Your father has got right dispose the property to any body.
