Delayed flight and damaged luggage

Hello

I travelled with my wife to destination A , their was one stopover , but due to delay we had to take 2 stopovers , but while boarding at the 2nd stopover we were assured that our luggage will be travelling with us to the destination A,but it wasn't to be ,We got our luggage after 1 day , and that too it was broken from the retract handle ,so we had to carry the 23 kg bag it all our trip.

Now , even though we reported the damage at the time of receiving it in destination A ,after coming back ,I want to file for the following claims with the airlines,

1)Loss due to delay of luggage
2)Claim for Inconvenience of carrying the luggage all along our trip
3)Claim for damage to bag
4)Claim for international calls that we had to do for getting our luggage.

pls give me some case laws.

You send the notice claiming for damages, if they do not come forward to pay, you can file a consumer case.

Yes filing a complaint under Consumer Protection Act would be a good remedy.
