i have been staying in mumbai.i gave my property dispute case to one lawyer but he was not looking properly then i decided to change the lawyer.after that i gave my case to 2nd lawyer but i found that the 2nd lawayer also was not working as a professional.he took the full fees and he was not informing the dates.he was not working in the interest of the client.when i called him about my case status then he told me that my case is rejected on some ground.he was asking more money to file the case again.then i met third lawyer to find the real ground of rejection of the case. then the 3rd lawyer told me that nobody from my family was appearing in the court on the date.3 times it happened then court rejected the case.my lawyer was also not looking the case seriousely.he told me 4 month back your case has been rejected.pls advice me can i complain about the second lawyer and wher should i complain and on which ground becoz of his irresponsible behaviour my case rejected.pls rteply

You can file a complaint in the Bar Council at Mumbai. Go there and obtain certain forms for making the complaint.

Thank you very much to all for reply. but the matter is happened in UP.i think there is district wise Bar Council. should i file the complaint in district Bar council or Bar councile of Uttar Pradesh.Is there any forms for making complaint in Uttar Pradesh also or in Metrocity only ?pls reply..........

There is nothing wrong. You give the complaint simultaneously to the State Bar Council with a copy to the District Bar Council.

There is no district wise bar council. The bar council will be within the High Court campus of the state.

thank u very much Mr Arunagiri.for lawyers idendtity what things are required. i mean is there any code no. for a lawyer or name and place is sufficient.any proof for the complain is also compulsary or not.pls reply...............what exactly i have to do step by step.

Name and address is enough. If you have the code number it will expedient the process. You have to give proofs. Mere allegation will not help you.
