No chargesheet in 90 days

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 14 April 2011 This query is : Resolved
If no chargesheet is filed in Arms Act case within 90 days can it be quashed? Isn't there some law that says if no chargesheet is made within a specified period of time (90 days) a case can be quashed?

KINDLY NOTE THAT IN CASE CHARGESHEET IS NOT FILED WITHIN 90 DAYS THEN IN CASE ACCUSED IS IN JAIL AND HE SUBMITS APPLICATION FOR BAIL ,HE CAN GET BENIFIT AND CAN BE RELEASED ON BAIL.
THE ACCUSED CAN FILE A CRIMINAL WRIT PETITION AT HIGH COURT FOR QUASHING THE SAID FALSE COMPLAINT .GOOD LUCK.
