my grandfather(gulam hussain gulam mohiuddin kokni) died in bombay hospital(mumbai) on 29 june 1987 and buried in our hometown nasik.i wanted to urgently know from where to get the death certificate and how.thankyou

you can get the certificate from the hospital of bombay

Hospital would have registered death of the your grand father with the BMC. So, only BMC would issue death certificate on the basis of the hospital record.

you should get the death certificate from mumbai hospital where grandfather died.
