CAN ANY EXPERT TELL ME WHAT TO DO IF OUR VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT CAUSING MINOR/MAJOR DAMAGE TO BOTH THE VEHICLES BUT NO PERSONAL INJURY. ALSO IF THERE IS PERSONAL INJURY TO ANY PERSON.
I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE FIGHTING ON THE ROADS TRYING TO RETRIEVE MONEY FROM EACH OTHER TO GET THE VEICLE REPAIRED.

In such cases, FIR should be got lodged against offending vehicle driver. Petition seeking compensation can be filed before MACT. It is not gud to fight on road in such matters if vehicles are insured and otherwise also matter can be resolved out of court.

if it is a minor one, the parties themselves settle the matter on the spot itself . if it is major it is very well to file a complaint and register FIR and claim compensation in motor accident tribunal. for criminal as well as for compensation
