Regisreation of FIR ?

I am staying in jurisdiction of Andheri Police Station. My father died intestat and the two brothers who are residing in jurisdiction of Juhu Police Station have committed frauds in the business and assets of father. Pl. advice :

1) With which police station I have to register my complaint for FIR ?

2) What I should do if police does not register the FIR ?

you can lodge the FIR in the area in which your father died or where the property is situated or where the fraud was done. if the police does not register the case file a complaint case before the judicial magistrate and file an application with 156(3) Cr.p.c. for the direction to the police for the registration of the case

properly advised by Adv. Sachdev...

the police generally remains reluctant to register FIR in such cases, unless and until there is a gross fraud committed with the public at large, when it comes to personal disputes then they create problem.

if the police refuses to register FIR, then file a criminal complaint before the Judicial Magistrate as advised above.

I agree all ld. friends. But i cannot understand why a place where father has died has jurisdiction, while no crime has committed there?
