you cant withdraw your f.i.r.. once f.i.r registered mean its can be disposed before court of law only. thats also after charge sheet filed.. on the other hand there is no no prima facie mean its will be closed mistake of facts..

Though it cannot be withdrawn but if such FIR has not been acted upon and compromise between the parties has arrived and complainant do not want any action thereto then he may make representation to police authorities with his affidavit and seek no action thereon. Police in that case may file discharge application before concerned court and if this application is allowed then accused persons may be exonerated from charges and case may be closed accordingly.

Yes, if it is in the initial stage of investigation the police may on the basis of withdrawal letter may submit Final Report.
