Rti against 498a

(Querist) 27 September 2011 This query is : Resolved
Will the RTI works for finding out the incomes of Inlaws at the time marriage, wherein to defend the allegedly given dowry.
Sailesh Kumar Shah (Expert) 27 September 2011
You can ask to ITO under the RTI Act. but the PIO ask u/s 11(1) to in laws since it is third party information.

Now question is they would give consent??

Shonee Kapoor (Expert) 27 September 2011
Yes, it does this and much more.

my FIL has been asked to cough up huge amount by Income Tax Department for unexplained expenditure.

You can summon the income tax returns of your FIL in court in your evidence by moving an application in court.

I used this formula in my 2 similar cases. Result was that FIL is facing income tax enquiry and a criminal case whereas his son-in-law (originally accused) is free now.

As told by Makkad.

SKJADVT,

By making your posting on this thread you have not provided any solution to the RTI problem of the querist. Rather you tried to add to your scores just by criticising me when you don't dare to reveal yourself and want to remain behing curtain.

I have neither claimed to be a super legal authority nor any law forbids me from agreeing on any expert's advice. Rather, with your own shallow knowledge you claim to be an expert.

In fact, I find when you find unable to suggest any solution to the problem of the querist, by tracing my reply you just try to add points to your scores by merely criticising me out of your jealousy. I have already tested your legal knowledge through several questions on other threads, as follows, where you totally failed even to reply even a single question of mine:

Even with reference to your present question, you have utterly failed to give any legal definition of CEO and registration requirement even on asking repeatedly.

In fact, by posting your quries against me you are exposing more and more of yourself. I wonder what type of expert you are!

You need to be the querist or approved LAWyersclub expert to take part in this query .
