Hi friends can u please guide me with the procedural and documentory requirements for registering an Architectural Firm.

What type of Firm is it please specify, is it a proprietary or a partnership. Procedures and documentation change accordingly

There is no specific procedure under the law for registration of a proprietary architectual firm. However, the proprietor has to be a member of the professional body of the architects, he has to register for service tax, apart from these there are other minor procedures like applying for a trade license with the muncipality, registering under the Professional Tax etc....

Membership in Your Professional Body/Association- You are Registered Member
Open Your Individual Professional Office ( Proprietary )
the rest of the things are minor things, in your local area .

Ur question is not clear, whether u want to register the partnership firm or proprietory concern. If partnership then u will have draft of partnership deed and get it regd., for Distr.,Registrar of the Firms. If properitor then no question of registration. U have to pay only profession tax I think for 10 years for professionals it is exempt.
