Students studying on expired visa. responsibilities of the educational institutions

There has been a case wherein an international student had joined an educational institution in India, but during the continuance of the study, the visa granted got expired and the student continues studies without renewing the same.
Please do confirm the duties, liabilities & responsibilities of the educational institution in such cases

Educational institution is concerned with only educational activities and does not have any concern with violation of laws of the land by the student. It is the liability of the student concerned only to get his VISA renewed in time in his own interest. The institution concerned can only help in confirming the continued enrollment of the student with the institution.

VISA is issued to an individual hence entire responsibility lies on the person to get renewed before expiry from the concerned High Commission/Embassy, there may be partial responsibility on an educational Institute in case of MINOR student to inform the concerned before expiry date,although the major responsibilty is of the parents of the student.
