how to file a complaint as per s182 of ipc can we give in our complaint to book under s182 or the decision rests with the police or should the judge direct the police can anyone please suggest and advise

Only police officer or his senior to whom false complaint was given can file 182.

You can just give them a request to file 182.

Whenever any information is given to the authorities and when the said authority found that the averments made in the complaint were false, it is for the said authority to initiate action under Section 182 I.P.within the prescribed period as provided under Section 468 Code of Criminal Procedure
